Staminalstone and its stones will show up at SUN, the International Exhibition of Outdoor Products, now in its twenty-ninth edition, which will open in Rimini on October 20th at 4 pm and will run until October 22nd.
The fair, one of the most important European events in the industry, will house in Hall D1 the booth of the magazine Ottagono, where there will be some works of the architect Roberto Giacomucci, selected under the project "From nest to shell".
The initiative, sponsored by the magazine specialized in design and contemporary architecture, sets out to investigate the theme of street furniture made of stone, putting it in relation to the city landscape, and to achieve the creation of objects that are functional and able to enhance the unique characteristics of the stone as a material that fits well in several urban settings characterized by different architectural and historical-artistic styles.
Roberto Giacomucci lives and works in Ancona, he is an imaginative and innovative designer who creates functional and surprising works for many Italian companies in the furnishing, lighting and bathroom furniture fields.
Ottagono has selected different models of bike racks designed by Giacomucci and worked by Anzilotti, from Pescia (PT), using marble bardiglio nuvolato from the quarries of Staminalstone.
Buky, Carpet and Ciotolo are the models which will be exhibited: three different ways of interpreting and shaping the stone, a precious material that has always been used for street furniture designed to combine aesthetics and durability.
Staminalstone's marble bardiglio nuvolato proposes to the creative imagination of design and becomes the absolute protagonist of the works, as it's characterized by its distinctive white-veined grey.
